If, like many men, you’re experiencing male-pattern hair loss, this can take a toll on your confidence. You may resort to always wearing a cap, or shaving your head to minimize the appearance of balding.
And for women who have female-pattern hair loss, the psychological effects can be even more significant, and you may feel that you need to cover you hair with a scarf, hat, or even a wig.
Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is the leading method of hair transplants as it leaves less noticeable scarring. In an FUE procedure, individual hair follicles are extracted from the donor area (usually the back of the neck), then inserted into the hair transplant site with a specialist microsurgical needle.
This minimally invasive procedure requires specialist skill, and the results speak for themselves. Time and time again, we hear back from past clients who have a new lease on life thanks to a full head of hair that looks natural and lacks the tell-tale signs of donor linear scarring.
At Reclaim MedSpa, our priority has always been patient safety and an aesthetically pleasing outcome. As such, our specialist medical professionals have years of training and experience in performing successful hair transplantation procedures.
Yes, that’s what makes it such an effective way to restore your hair. Because transplanted hair is resistant to DHT (the hormone that causes hair loss), hair that is successfully transplanted will be permanent.
The FUE hair transplant procedure is painless as it is done under anesthetic. After the procedure, as the anesthetic wears off, there may be some slight discomfort.
You will be able to return to work between 2 and 5 days after the procedure. After 2 to 3 weeks you can expect the transplanted hair to fall out.
At around 5 to 6 months, you will start to see most of the new hairs. And at between 8 and 10 months your hair will appear at its longest and thickest. This is because the hair transplants have reached maturity, and hair will have grown a few inches.
Our priority is to provide natural-looking solutions to concerns such as male-pattern balding and female-pattern hair loss. Our medical experts have the skills and experience needed to ensure that your hair transplantation is a success.

Reclaim MedSpa is my favorite place to unwind. Elena the founder of Reclaim MedSpa has worked absolute magic on my skin. Dr. Shapiro and his team at Reclaim MedSpa have given me my youth back. I’ve had PRP and used their Korean shampoo to help give me back my hair. It’s been thinning for the last few years. The combination of suggestions and treatment from Dr. Shapiro is helping my hair grow back and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I’ve also had the CO2 laser treatment and at 70 years old It took at least ten years off my skin. Amazing!— Peggy Formeister
